Dear Madam
Your welcome letter to hand the mail before last very pleasing. All were well as this leaves me at present.
I am very pleased you are haveing such a good year as it is wanted badly. We never see a bit of green grass about hear. I have not seen a decent bit of green grass this last 4 months. I had a letter From Tom last mail, he was telling me he had his old job Back again, he said he liked it well.
