The handing over of the German High Sea Fleet will be forever, a memorable & historical event.
24th We have received orders to leave this village tomorrow Mon. 25th. It is rumoured that the 1st 2nd & 4th Aust. Divs. Have already left for Germany.
Since the signing of the Armistice the civilians have taken a very keen interest in the distribution of the mail. Every evening at about 5 oclock a little knot of girls and others are to be seen gathered round the Post Office door waiting for it to open. Mr Aginoo h went off to Paris this morning after handing over the duties of Mess Secretary to me.
