very soon the Coal barges came with there niggers & the air was full of dust & noise. They sold exceptionaly nice oranges @ 2d. each but some of the digs who were swiming got into a boat & threw all the fruit on board. No more boats came about except selling lace silk & other stuff. All the pasangers got off & some nurses & officers came on. The niggers struck on one coal barge. It was funnie. A few Digs got boats
