The sector is called La Toquet, and within 3 hours of taking over
our scouts discovered a sunken bridge over the canal 3 feet
under the water by which means the germans were able to
capture N.Z. patrols, Tommy mail sergeants with mail etc for the
last 3 months
19th Two of our birds had their sentence read out to-day, both
were sentenced to be shot
