After all is said and done however we are probably best where we are. We will get all our affairs settled up and into civil life before the rest come home and we will not have the trouble and worry of being pestered and being knocked about from pillar to post.

No parades to-day in honour of peace but strange to say there is no Divine service being held.

These last few days the ship has been rocking a great deal. There is a tremendous swell on the sea. About 4 o'clock in the afternoon we reached outside the harbour at Fremantle.
