20 March, Thursday
W. we stop in & have music, singing & play cards all night. In afternoon we go for walk to P.O. & both are very silent. We have further chat on the things & on Botany. In evening M sings & plays quite a lot. I try to turn over music & sing but am not required so I sit down & do nothing. We play Rummy late & I easily run both the V & M out & we go upstairs together.
24 March, Friday
Snow & F.
We go to Bridge & to Douglas. We ride through the snow storm & have 40 minutes wait. Tea at Calm Café & we are taken for honeymooners everywhere, we go to Gran's by Broadway & have tea. I go to Mrs Grundys. We have nice chat. We buy cakes etc. nice ride home in Train warm & comfy although we are tired. We walk home from Bridge in the Dark.
