Dear Mr Nosworthy,
                               It's a long time since I have written to you, but you must excuse me, as I'm afraid our correspondence gets rather neglected over here sometimes. Though I daresay you have heard any news from one of the Family at different times. On leaving Zeitoun Camp, where we were stationed for so long we moved to Tel el Kebir, and were camped on the very battlefield where so many lives were lost, about 1882.Very often on Sundays we would go for a walkover the old trenches and earthworks which still exist, and often came across very interesting curios in the shape of spent bullets, old buttons from uniforms, and even skulls and human bones. We only stopped at Tel-el- Kebir about a week before we moved camp to here, and
