Unable to get in to see Parl't sitting, but went to the afternoon Service at the Abbey & was well rewarded. The organ is magnificent, & the choir sang beautifully.
Secured a railway warrant for Portishead & then collected £ 25 from the NSW Bank. Saw sundry Dookes & Earls at the House of Commons – also Haldane. Gee! I nearly forgot
