8 Barges were brought alongside about 8 to take us ashore. It was a slow job getting on board & very hot trip to the landing about ½ a mile First thing was to look for a cool drink. A native took us in hand, but did not produce the drinks as cureo selling was his game. By being sterne we got the drinks & left the cureos. Then went to
