Transferred to "Malda". Got Webb equipment. Heard that a Torpedo boat "Turkish" attempted to torpedo a transport coming in a few nights ago but missed & was in turn beached. Panic on transport resulted in a good many being drowned

Nothing of much consequence today. Was told that we are to form part of first landing party.
