March 5th. Sunday.
Musketry Grouping morning afternoon off. Warned to shift Camp
March 6th. Monday
Bkfast 7am. Messed clear of camp about 8am. Cleaned up lines and struck camp about 10am. N.Z.M.R. took over about same time. Our band played them in: looked well. Marched off about 11.30am. Picked up A.Coy & with 30 minute marches reached road 1pm. & Ferry Post 5pm. Pitched tents & settled down with O.K. about 7.30.
7th. Tuesday.
Without previous warning struck tents about 8am and prepared to move out. Camp cleaned & OK ready for marching 10.15am. Marched Pontoon Bridge & halted at Ordinance Stores where we changed rifles
