Dartford Hosp : transferred to ward A.15 : Holy Comm at 10 am in the Chapel & very nice ; church at 10.45 am & also nice : band for orchestra & fair few nurses & W.L. [Women's Legion] girls there : another air raid at night

Dartford Hosp : inspected bt Dr in morn : wound nearly healed but thigh still stiff : said he would leave the two pieces of shell in so long as they didn't interfere with my movements : sent a Hun book & a few clippings to Mum : Wilkie & self strolled to Dartford : fair sized place : rested in Y.M.C.A. & then
