Embarked on "Demosthenes",  Tpt. F.        

Saturday 28  July, 1917
Letter to mother.
Pulled out from North Dkyard  noon & anchored in Sound near Breakwater.  
Went to confession.

Sunday 29  July, 1917
Still in Plymouth Sound.
Received Sea Kit Bag from Red Cross.
Cleared Breakwater, 9.7 pm.
Escort. T.B.D. 60.9045.92.   H.M. Aus. cruiser Marmora
Mass on Poop deck.   Recd   Holy Communion & served the mass.
