Tuesday March 27th, 1917
Passed Eddystone Lighthouse. Arrived Plymouth about 1.45 a.m. Left boat about 10 a.m. – entrained in 3rd class carriages at Devonport Dockyard for Dinton nr. Salisbury. Arrived Dinton about 6 p.m. & at Hurdcott Camp No.11 about 8 p.m. Very cold, but carriages had steam heaters, made them very comfortable. Supplied at Queen St., Exeter with Buns & tea by Lady Mayoress & helpers.

Wednesday 28/3/17
Very cold, frosty. Inspection in full marching order & dull during day.

Thursday 29/3/17
Placed in contact as later developed mumps. Have drill, just the once during day though.
