a cruiser had arrived in daylight I really don´t know what they could have done although I hear that Flag expects Destroyers to attack in daylight an extroardinary proceeding to say the least of it. Eventually the complete squadron arrived with troop and store ships and after a few days all moved north to take Rabaul:- the seat of German Government for the Bismarck Archipelago.
