Forward.

Thinking that my own people would like to have some idea of what had been going on, after the departure of the FIRST DIVISION sailed from Sydney-xxxxxxx for EGYPT, & the DARDANELLES-- I set down these few experiences herein related. Whilst i was typing them, it occured to my mind, that they might also be of great interest to many others, who had never read such particulars in print. I do not lay claim to any merit as a writer---- but the facts are related here, are a true and unbiassed account of what really happened in the time stated and may be of much interset to those who have had, & still have Relations at the front.
