Sir

I have the King's Command to apply to you in order that one of his Majesties under Gardiners at Kew may if convenient & the Compmany be accommodated on board the Ship in which the Companies Gardiner Proceeds to Calcutta, he is to take charge of the Plants which will be sent from thence for the use of the Royal Gardens in the Cabbin Prepared to carry out fruit trees & usefull Plants which unless there is a skillfull Person on board are not likely to come home safe, if he is accommodated with the warrant officers he will be perfectly satisfied if the expence of his victualies is provided for by the Com [Company ?].  I apprehend it will be accorded as a compliment.
