My dear Sir                      
the bearer is the person  Chr Smith The Person who brought home the bread fruit trees etc under the command of Capt Bligh & whom I wish to recommend to the Court of directors to be their Gardener at Calcutta he waits upon you for your Commands & will attend you whenever & wherever you shall choose to appoint
