My Dear Sir

I am Sorry I was not at home when you calld as a conversation wld have savd you the trouble of reading this.

I have looked over the Abstract I made when I last had the pleasure of being at Gautby of the original Trust deed of Hemingby hospital & I do not Find we are under any restriction relative to a Preference of one order beyond another except that we are not to entertain more than 2 clergymens widows at a time & that those who are not Clergymens widows be those of Farmers living in the County of which two are Objects of Charity.

I do not wonder that the Two of Hemingby Petitions for a widow I take for granted that all she gets from the hospital will be a deduction from the Parish rates and I do not Find we are in any Report [?] bound to give a Preference to that Parish.

I am perfectly ignorant of the Character Both of the Persons who petition for their friend & fr of the Several Candidates & 2 others I am sure will
