belonging to the said Ship and these Officers having in the first Instance likewise made heavy Complaints against him their said Commander I therefore put you in Possession of their respective Letters requiring and directing you to proceed on board the Said Ship, taking with you to your Assistance Captain John Houstoun and Lieutenant Jno. Oxley of His Majesty's Ship Buffalo and enquire into the same presenting to me a Statement and your Opinion thereon.

 Given under my Hand at Government House, Sydney this 10th Day of December 1806
