& Firm Security in which his son Professor Forster of of Cassell do join him making himself equaly responsible with his father for my security in case of the said Fathers death
in this Security the two Professors must undertake to repay the money at some specified time & during the time they retain it to pay to me interest in the way of forbearance at the rate of 2½ per Centum with which interest tho only half the Legal interest of this Countrey I shall be contented & will not press them for the money as long as we remain upon the footing of Friendship in which we now stand
Now as the proposition above mentioned must be allowd by all mankind as a reasonable kind & Friendly one considering the disapointment I
