Again, the termination of the high land on the West of the Nile & beyond the Pyramids North westwards is a desideratum.

Amongst smaller matters the exact Bearings of the great Pyramid from Cairo - the position of the Village from of Barnash near Cairo, from whence the Fezzan Caravan goes - the Existence of such a town with Ruins as Bahuasa, in the lesser Oasis - the place from whence the people of Terane get the Rushes of which they make Mats at Menouf in the Delta (supposd to be in the Valley of Mogarra) - The depth as well as the breadth of the two Valleys, of Balubalama & Natron - the Extent of the Alluvion, or of the Flat Desert ; in a S W direction from Rahmany or S E from Alexandria - are severaly of importance to the correction of the Geography.  It is possible that the Blemonyes can be from Bela-ma - destitute of Water.

It is possible that you may obtain from some of the Southern people who come to Cairo;  some further particulars respecting the course of the Niger in the quarter of Fiddri or Fittre' Wangara &c. Horneman's journal has again set afloat the old story of the Niger being the same with the Bahr Abreid. This I scout most decidedly, because of the reported difference of Levels, & the course of the Waters - from Darfour towards the North West - Your Misselad River is evidently the River in Ptolomy that runs to the N W from (I should say Darfour) for it is in the parallel of 10 N (into Elisi the Nabr Pelas likely to be a Fittre lake or BahrFiddie I am wrong. Elisi says such) Another River that comes from the West, but distinct from the Niger Edrisi says much the same.  Perhaps you may be told something more respecting the Rivers that discharge into the Trittre Lake;  & if there are any from the West.  You perceive that I am now looking towards the Niger.

According to Horneman Burnu ought to be lookd for much farther to the S W than we have placd it as he was told it was only 15 days E or N E from Kashna & Fiddri 25 days beyond Burnu to the E b N.  Certainly 40 days from Kashna will suit the position of Fiddri, probably the Nuba Palus, or it may be that of Lybia, the recipient of the Niger
