Court of Directors have ordered their agent at Bristol to provide a waggon & cause them to be brought to Kew in it & an additional gardener has been sent from Kew to assist

In this dilemma the officers of the Port Refuse properly no doubt to suffer the Plants to be brought from the Ship without orders from your honors

I therefore most humbly request that such orders may be given by your honors as are best suitable to Pursue the speedy release of these Plants from their Present situation & that they may be permitted to be brought to Kew under such custody as your honors shall see fitting with as little delay as possible
