The Canari Nut smoaked or kiln-dryed will keep good for 18 Months, or two Years -

          This valuable Nut is worthy of esteem, for its particular efficacy for preventing the Scurvy, and for preserving the health of Seamen on long Voyages -

          This Plant will thrive well, in the West India Islands and I have no doubt ot its becoming a Valuable acquisition as an article of food for the Support of the Slaves &c in the West India Islands -

          The Sago, wear tree, which yield a substance called Gimutu of which Cables, and all other kinds of Cordage are made, will also thrive well in the West Indias

          I have the pleasure to send you a specimen of Gorruter yarn, which Box No. 2 contain

          I cannot send you any Plants by this opportunity the Star being too small a Vessel for that purpose, however you may rely on it that I will not be remiss whenever a favorable opportunity occcurs.

          By this Conveyance I send Sir Joseph Banks the following Seeds for the West Indies viz
