thought proper at their own risque & for their own advantage, provided however that all such original Drawings [a] & such scetches [b] be considerd as the property of the Public & lodgd in the Depot of the Admiralty when requird so to be, that the remainder of the Journals & Collections of Natural History Arms Habits Implements Ornaments &c. shall be at the disposal of the Persons who have collected them, all this however on condition that each person shall during the Voyage have behavd himself with propriety to the rest, Their Lordships reserving to themselves the power of punishing all deviations from good humor & perfect harmony among the parties by witholding from the persons offending such parts of the benefits above describd as they shall think proper.
