An appointment Signd by Lord Bathurst for an Assistant in the Melting Room to be paid as Mr. Jerrom when the Coinage does not amount to £500,000 a year, when it does to be Paid by the melter.
There are now two Engine men at the Charge of the Moneyers who will be dischargd by them the moment the Coinage Ceases. They are competent to their Charge & much Trouble will ensue if new ones are to be taught.
Their Pay 1½ guinea a week
There are now Eight Principal moneyers 4 added by the Last Master & an apprentice also allowd by him.
