-- rations a voice would yell from down the train. Promptly comes the answer, "Now then chum they give tha cup o' tea day before yesterday what more dust tha want." A raucus song & chorus starts as the train creeps along once more through snow & ice & mountain passes and at last pulls up inside a huge railway station apparently deserted but which with a little encouragement & pioneer from the officers & much pioneering on the part of other ranks produces bread & eggs & Chianti. All is cheerfulness once more & on we go until we reach the sunny Italian Port where in a rest camp quite well managed & clos affording that great Godsend
