June 21 clean hut, but we wont be here long.
Rather nice here by the quiet backwater, with the green low lying hills in the foreground & the intermittent chirping of the birds. And what a change after the everlasting desert, the intolerable heat & the dirty niggers of Egypt. In this secluded spot there is a peace & quietness not found in the vastness of the desert. Passed the Doc & his S.A. inspection safely
