Dear Sir

The  Pacquet from New South Wales arrived yesterday full of Curiosities fresh & in high Preservation. I could discover various Banksia amongst them & with the Assistance - [indecipherable] whose figures many of them are drawn from Specimens in your Museum.  I shall be able to make out most of the Genera - I write to Governor Philips this evening to thank Him for the favor - but it is to your kindness I think myself primarily obliged.

What part of the List Mr Aiton can spare from Kew at present would be best sent in pots.  They should be carefully packed up & may be sent by one of the Oxford Waggons we have thus received large Collection formerly from Lord Tankerville, & other Gardens - the expense of such a conveyance must not stand a moment in the way - the University
