Sent Seeds to Lady Brownlow
to the african institutions [note by Banks]

Calcutta 7 July 1811

My Dear Sir

I only intend by this to inform you that unless the care of Mr Ritchie, a passenger on the Reemoolah, I have sent you a parcel of seeds in which you will find some more cones of my long leaved pine, from the mountains north of [indecipherable] and some of my [indecipherable]  This is the first time I have been able to procure the seeds of this tree for these twenty years. I have taken the liberty of sending a parcel of the same seeds for the African Institution along with yours, & request your will have the goodness to send it to the Secretary.

I have at last got specimens in flower, of my elastic rubber tree, and as I thought,
