I have now the honour to transmit to you 1 Box and Basket of Seeds of which the
enclosed is a list and I trust they will meet your approbation.

I have particularly to mention a new species of Myristica which I found after the late heavy rains floating in the Caltura River [Sri Lanka] from which I conclude it is indigenous to the Kandian Country- I have also enclosed a Cingalese list of seeds sent in the box for which I could not find any Botanic name you will perhaps Sir do me the honor to send me the Linnaean names for them.
