Mr Webb of the adml aplin Kent in the Isl of Trenes 10 months Releasd on Parole to send a Person of Equal Rank in Exchange

Left the Island Novr 18. Came home by america in an american vessel

Flinders was imprisond & not permittd to walk out except in a small garden in the daytime while the is heat insufferable

The other Prisoners were treatd as he is treatd the Soldiers drove all persons into the house at 6 in the Evening

Capt Cockberne of the Phaeton came on shore for the Purpose of asking an exchange of Flinders he was blinded & put on board the Cayenne guard ship  the exchange was refusd
