Inclos'd is a Letter intended to accompany the Plants for Kew Gardens, to go by Captain Bligh.   Intelligance of War having been proclaimd just at the Moment of his Sailing the Plants are of necessity relanded & must remain for some Time - I have however thought proper with a view of satisfying You in the mean time what has been done, to send the inclos'd - I shall as much as possible avail myself of the Opportunity which Captain Bligh's Detention affords; to make an addition to the Collection of which
