the latest, and I have no apprehension about getting round the Cape of Good Hope, as it will be in the Summer months. -  From Timor I flatter myself I shall make a rapid passage, & I think Madagascar will answer remarkably well for us to get water at & other things - I believe St. Augustin in lat.d 23½º  on the West Side is the most elligible place. - I thank you very sincerely Dear Sir for the trouble you are taking about the publication,  if it proves worth a dedication, I hope you will permit me to Dedicate it to you - I have now long been accustom'd to look to you as a kind friend, and therefore beg you will permit me to ever acknowledge it.- I trust I shall return a successful adventurer to you, I will at any rate be a faithfull  & industrious one.
When I sail I shall write to you by the last Boat. -
