is to depart from Simons Town, where our God Son is Deputy Fiscal & can therefore inform you how he conducts himself in the Situation entrusted to him.  Should His Lordships Report be favorable, I have no doubt but you will assist him a little further (the last request probably your old Friend will make) as he is burthened with a Wife and seven Children. 

     My Wife & Children are well, she remembers with Pleasure the Days we formerly spent during your Stay in this Colony.  Your little God Son Christopher Joseph recommends himself to your Friendship, he answers very well the Instruction he receives from his Masters, but good ones are so scarce here that we cannot let him learn every thing which is necessary.
