can indulge him in his present request, I should consider it as an obligation conferred on myself and whatever expence may attend it, I shall pay in to M. Pissot to your account.

      Ever desirous to promote Science, I should think myself particularly happy could I be of any use to you, or to any of your friends, whilst I am in this country.  I therefore beg that you may at all times freely lay your commands on me.  In the mean time I embrace this opportunity to assure you of the real sentiments of esteem and regard, with which I have the honor to be,
