Constantinople by Asia He proposes including in his Tour so as to occupy twelve or Eighteen months usefully & pleasurably.  Mr. Cliffords object is to make himself well acquainted with the customs, Habits, Laws & arts & sciences in those Countries.  His Morals, & attainments will I hope fit him to pass with respect, & to secure the Esteem of those who honor him with their attention.  Mr. Lee would be extremely gratified by any notice that Sir Joseph Banks would be so kind as to shew toward his Relation, well assured that the Countenance of Sir Joseph is superior to all others where Science, improvements & useful objects are most in view.   If there are any persons to whom Sir Joseph will be so good
