the Cape, as most of our Seed Wheat was destroy'd by the Weevil, or from being heated in the passage. This was owing to bad stowage, part of what was brought from the Cape was likewise destroyed by the Weevil.  We have now near twenty Acres in Tillage & the Corn in particular places where the ground was well cleared is as fine as any I ever want. I have some Oranges, Figus Vines, Pomme Roses Apples, pears, Sugar Cane, & Strawberrys that I brought from Rio de Janeiro & the Cape in fine order, so that I hope
