'till the Ships were ready to Sail.  If Mason was to come from the Cape, he would be able serve you effectually, in the mean time, I will do what lays in my power, but half of what was brought me, got wet & were spoiled, next Winter I shall be under Cover & shall have more time.  I send two tubs of plants to Mason by the Sirius, the variety of flowering Shrubs in this part of the World, far exceeds any thing I ever want & in the Winter, if the Season can be call'd so in which nothing more than a hoar frost has been seen, we have more
