[Page 4]

I have not been able to take a pen in my hand untill very lately, owing to an inveterate Cutaneous eruptions in my hands, it first came in small black spots & spread all over the inside of my hand & fingers without affecting any other part of my body. I have lost all my Nails & am fearfull it will not leave me. I think it has been occasioned by touching or handling some plants. If you could send me any advice for it I'll thank you - I have sent Col.l Kyd a great many very fine Flax plants which I raised from Seeds by the Sugar Cane, by Nepean I send him more  have desired Kyd to send you some of them by the best & first Opportunity I do not suppose Nepean would be able to take any with him.
