extended so much further to the Westward of where he was  the preceeding year.  In case of any accident being sufferd him I have sent a Duplicate of his last Charts to the Admiralty by Mr [indecipherable] who is to deliver them to Flinders if he is arrived in England  This is my last security against what may happen to him-

Collins after finding Port Phillip ineligible for being a Settlement has moved his Colony to the Derwent a post I had previously occupied   He seems to approve of it very much his dispatches to hand which arrived a few hours before the Calcutta was under weigh I have transmitted them with my dispatches -
