My Dear Sir

I regret I could not have called upon you at the time you was at home which was owing to my great anxiety all the morning to know when I was likely to depart & to inform you of the result.  It was fine before that was any way made at all easy to my mind, when Mr Marsden consulting with the Board, who he said felt for my situation, appointed me to call on them to morrow at one o'clock.  The Porpoise & Sinclair are under orders to join the Convoy and the fair Wind blowing added to my uneasyness under the apprehension they might sail & leave me behind after all my expence & every thing being on board but a small Port
