Left the Show Ground at 9 am marched to Newmarket Raily. Stn. thence by train to Port Melbourne where we embarked on board H.M.T.S. Benalla.  where we Left Wharf about 1 p.m.  Lt. Rigby & party of 24 led horses for 5 L.H. [Light Horse] Train from show ground to Victoria Dock.  After the 24 men had hand horses over they were marched to the Karoo where they were handed over to the C.O. troops. They rejoin us in England.
