26.9.14  Broadmeadows

2nd Lieut[enant] Rigby & a party of 10 proceeded at 6 AM via Sydney Road to Port Melbourne to place L.G.S. [Light General Service], 2 G.S. [General Service] wagons & water carts & saddlery on Board H.M.T.S. [His Majesty's Transport Ship] BENALLA. This party returned at 3 p.m.
Lieut[enant] McQuin, Drivers Hotel & --- were detained on board the transport, the Officer returned at midnight, but men remained.
Balance of Coy. [Company] cleaning up Camp.
Equipment & clothing still being drawn.
