21.9.14  Broadmeadows

Stable routine.  Dismounted drill with rifles.  4 men were discharged as being unsuitable. Strength now 127.  Several pairs of horses exercised in wagons.

22.9.14  Broadmeadows

Usual stable routine.  11 men from the 1st Reinforcements attached to No 3 making total of 138. These men are extra drivers for wagons to carry Blankets for Infantry. Branding & shoeing horses.
Horses Nos 4805, 4266, 4892 to Isolation Camp - strangles.
