compulsory one. On awaking this morning and feeling the exceeding coldness of the atmosphere the padre thoughtfully decided to have a voluntary service and intimated as much to Bn. Hqrs. who approved but as usually forgot to inform the Companies, at any rate 'C' Company, with the splendid result stated above.
