All manner of things are hawked in the street among these being hard-boiled eggs. There are many English "Terriers" in the place €“ the Lancashire Fusilleers. The native quarter is the biggest of ramshackles. We were advised to go about in company & I think it is just as well. About every five yds. touts surround us.
