of men outside one of our Comforts fund places. Eighteen were killed outright and 26 were rushed up to us some with legs off the majority being fearfully mangled altogether 57 casualties came from that one bomb. He was also active with his shelling a lot of casualties being sustained in Ypres. The weather still very fine so expect another stunt in a few days but expect to be relieved before then. Three more of our bearers wounded today.
Sunday, 30th Sept. Absolutely a beautiful day yet things were very hot in our neighbourhood. Shrapnel & H.E. came over especially along towards Hell Fire Corner where he caught a dump which burnt for hours. Wounded & gas cases were few nevertheless. We move out tomorrow.
