Thursday
Nothing of special import. Just the same old camp routine. Weather very chilly again.

1918 May 24
Friday
Went to Salisbury and was Decorated with the M.M. & Bar. All recipients in the Southern Command were Decorated. Gen: Sclater was officiated & altogether it was a big ceremony. Got back to camp about 7.P.M. In the evening. We held a Sgt Social in No 1 Mess. Usual Beer and smoke feast.
