Since I have been to the Spice Islands, I have sent home a great number of Plants and Specimens, but I have not yet received any advice of their arriving safe. -
Captain Nash will have the honor to deliver to you for your inspection, Specimens of a Cable and other cordage made of the substance which grow on the Stem of the Sagowear tree.
Mr. Farquhar the present Resident of the Moluccas asked my opinion with regard to Sending a Ship direct from hence to Jamaica with the useful Plants of the Moluccas - I told Mr. F
